She Can Celebrate Her Happiness

Women’s friendships are complex. I have had so many opportunities in my life to be a really bad friend to other girls. It has come, most times in my life, when what I call a ‘scarcity mindset’ has crept into my thinking. Or an offense has taken root in my heart.
What I notice happens quickest, and is usually the earliest sign that my world is shrinking is this …
I find it really challenging to celebrate their happiness.
On topic of sisterhood and this same scripture before we even move on, can I show you another angle of the same scripture we taught about being better together?
Song of Song 3:11
Come and look, sisters in Jerusalem. Oh, sisters of Zion, don't miss this! My King-Lover, dressed and garlanded for his wedding, his heart full, bursting with joy!
She can say so confidently ‘LOOK’ to the sisterhood surrounding her.
She can call the dream coming to fruition ‘MINE’
She does not seem to think that they would not CELEBRATE her happiness.
The desire of my heart is to ALWAYS be that to my sisterhood that I am running with.
I want to be it face-to-face.
I want to be it online.
I want to be it with those closest and those who are strangers.
It is a practice.
Especially when I want breakthrough in the same area.
Sow into someone else’s success and happiness.
Bless it!
Hey, let’s also not shrink back from success in our own lives because there are small people around you.
Analyse those relationships and make sure they can celebrate with you.
Go where you are celebrated.
