Day Forty - Where To From Here?

What has this forty days taught you? What has this year taught you? What has this decade taught you?

More than anything this forty days taught me to show up as a writer. Ok maybe a blogger, but I am authoring, penning, engaging with the world via my words. This is a deep dream of mine.

And truly it feels like the world has engaged. Mexico. UK. Sweden. Australia. Germany. Ireland. Singapore. Malaysia. Bali. USA. Canada. Scotland. Jamaica. Ghana. Finland. South Korea. New Zealand. Kenya. Sweden. France. Argentina.

Its been an honour to engage with people’s journeys. And one thing I have come to recognize, as women, is our connectedness and the common dynamics of our womanhood. What strength. What resilience. What legacy we carry within our spiritual wombs.

Studying the daughters of Z has changed my life. I am eternally grateful for finding their story and living in the fruit of their boldness.

Here is what the Lord promised me at the end of the first time I focused these 40 days.

Moses is in a conversation with the Lord and says In Exodus 34:9

‘If I have found favour and loving-kindness in your sight, I pray you go in the midst of us (even when we are a stubborn people), pardon our iniquity and our sin, and TAKE US FOR YOUR INHERITANCE (own us, possess us)’

I love that this would be our ultimate heart’s desire. And again, what an illustration of Jesus. In Him we have pardon, favour, grace and forgiveness for our rebellion and stubbornness.

Where would we be without Him.

Exodus 34: 10

And the Lord said ‘behold I lay down afresh the covenant. Before all your people I WILL DO MARVELS (wonders and miracles) such as have not been wrought or created in all the earth or in any nation. All the people among whom you stand shall see the work of the Lord, for it is a terrible (awesome, fearful and

full of awe) thing that I will do with you.

May this be the days that we are living in. May the wonders, marvels and miracles be like never seen upon the earth. ..

Exodus 34:29 When Moses came down from Mt Sinai with the two tablets in his

hand, he did not know that the skin of his face shone and sent forth beams by reason of his speaking to the Lord.. so he put a veil on but before the Lord he was unveiled.

2 Corinthians 3:13 We all with unveiled faces now behold the glory of the Lord and

are transformed.

It is my prayer that these 40 days together not only see you walk in your true inheritance with boldness and audacity but that you would actually be TRANSFORMED more and more into the likeness of Jesus.

This is what has happened for me. I found myself so immersed in His promises and His Word that I was listening more effectively than I ever had before and His Voice was easy to

respond to. I was being transformed.

From this transformation will come ‘beams of light’ so that people know you have been with the Lord. Your journey is not just about you .. but all those who are yet to come into your path.

Here we are years later, on the other side of the world. Still not knowing next steps in all the areas that I wish I did on the eve of a new year.

But I know more than ever that my life is not just about me.

I know the steps I take are directed by Him.

I know that legacy is within my decisions.

I know Boldness is within my blood

I know that your future is bright.

I know that your life deeply matters.

I know that your voice is crucial to the shifting of atmospheres that usher kingdom come.
